Blair's talk titled "Supporting the Decision Making Process with AI", will focus on how the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is undergoing rapid disruptive change, and how we can navigate these changes with insight and purpose. When strategically applied, generative AI can deliver significant improvements to operations and productivity. However, without the right combination of data science fundamentals, domain expertise, and firsthand industry experience, it can be challenging to identify the most impactful opportunities.

As the AI Lead at Surespan Construction, Blair emphasizes that effective AI integration goes far beyond simply attaching chatbots to existing systems. Through four practical case studies, this session will walk attendees through how to identify high-value use cases, build robust analytical pipelines, and ultimately enhance the day-to-day experience of end users.
